All simulation videos of DeltaWing racing cars are full rFactor Driver-In-The-Loop simulations featuring famous American race tracks.
The DeltaWing’s mass properties, aerodynamic downforce, balance and yaw-sensitive maps, aero traffic effects, tire characteristics, suspension geometry, engine maps, gearshifts and differential are as realistic as we can make them based on the simulations and aero testing conducted by DeltaWing thus far in the development process.
While there are, of course, some detail limitations, we believe they do not change the overall impression and handling of the DeltaWing cars as shown in the videos. We received help in getting the basic graphics across to rFactor’s formats from rFactor-Pro. rFactor-Pro also serves top Formula 1 teams in rFactor-based Driver-In-The-Loop simulations.
Since the DeltaWing ‘mod’ is not yet complete, we will not issue it to the public. We will continue to develop it as the final version of the DeltaWing racing car is defined. Stay tuned for more excitement from DeltaWing!
