A terrific project. Am an ancient SCCA member from Daytona Beach. Have mourned the loss of inovation at Indy and Daytona 24. This car is what racing is supposed to really be all about. I have no idea where the car would “fit” in a GT catagory, or if it will place high enough in the overall finish. Never the less, the AOC has given these guys the chance to show what could be. That Dan and the AAR group, Highcroft, Don Panoz, et al are teamed up should give notice that this is a really serious effort.
Will continue to monitor the website and look for more articles in the motoring press.
Big Question *** Will there be a press covered roll out and some sort of track testing? Can hardly wait.
